Velasco Vitali paints the essence of its deepest themes, gifting the eye of every listener with imagination, expressing the energy of the music which characterizes each program.
CREATION
– 2024 –
Creation is a deliberate act that brings into existence what did not exist before; an instantaneous gesture or an evolutionary path; an intimate process of imagination, representation, interpretation that characterizes the creative experience of man, who thus becomes an artist and
composer, making an evolutionary path over the centuries.
Today, faced with the creative power of the great Masters of all time, in order not to risk losing the heritage they have given us and to enjoy the opportunity to be inspired and guided, we must create special conditions that favor the possibility of more attentive listening and deeper understanding. We are convinced that Nature and the beauty of some special places are the best conditions for ninety minutes of live music to become an indefinite moment of meditation, growth, communion, sharing. Both for the musicians, who create their unrepeatable interpretation moment by moment. Both for the public, which feeds its soul with Beauty. Which always inspires and therefore always leads each of us to create: thoughts, words, actions, projects… whose impact must be positive and constructive, to be able to generate joy and harmony together.

From the revolutionary “Don Quixote” by Cervantes, Georg Philipp Telemann traces the path of this bizarre character capable of impossible deeds in the name of imaginative hallucinations, perhaps achievable only for a crazy and passionate soul.

Visione, intimate process of imagination, representation, interpretation that characterizes the creative experience of artists and composers, of man, who over the centuries in stimulating an evolutionary path creates an increasingly rich possibility of listening and understanding.
A magical territory, capable of unique suggestions that leave the soul and senses breathless together with the bright colors of authors from four centuries of history will give the opportunity to stop and admire nature and creations from the privileged point of view of those who have left these priceless traces value, constant and timeless nourishment.

ESSENZA
–2022–
Breathing what is between the notes, breathing the soul of the composer and listening to his deep heartbeat is perhaps the main motivation for bringing a musical page back to life, or rather freeing its essence. Each writing has its own organization, depth, and resonance. Perceiving and understanding its biorhythm, its expansion in space, is the purest game of the performer, who has the task of becoming a conductor between the soul of the composer and that of the listener. As musicians, if we breathe the essence of the composer into the listener, then we will have left something that can germinate and become a source of other creativity.
After all, essence is therefore like pollen carried from one flower to another to bear fruit and create more lifeblood, more beauty. This search for the invisible tension of the composer’s inner sound world, the engine of making music, therefore turns out to be a much wider phenomenon than one might imagine, which stimulates continuous regeneration.
DE–SIDERARE

De-siderare (to desire), to stare towards something that draws our attention, or conversely to look away when we perceive an absence experienced as a passionate and endless search.
In a word, a desire. The energy that pulls us beyond our everyday reality, where what really matters is the act of desiring itself.
MOVIMENTO
– 2019 –
“Movimento” is what we all feel when we feel a push to reach a new stage in our life or creative process.
Physically and spiritually a necessary “Movement” of the soul and body that leads to a change of point of view and life condition.
SOGNO
– 2018 –
Dreaming is essential to the birth and creation of any trace Man can leave.
Dreaming is vision, and thanks to it a person follows a path, undertaking a voyage which, when finished, will leave him transformed.
COSTELLAZIONI
– 2017 –
Inspired by the well-known composition, The Planets
by Gustav Holst, the 2017 edition of the Festival presents the original version for two pianos in a program that encompasses the musical production of the 19th century, as well as romantic and antique periods, with a taste for the numerous colors and perfumes of music through the ages.
